When I Say Bipolar Disorder, What Comes to Your Mind?

When I say "bipolar disorder," what comes to your mind?

It's World Bipolar Day and I went out on the street to get reaction to that question. My goal wasn't to be confrontational, but to get honest reactions and see how some people perceive bipolar disorder.

Obviously, bipolar stigma is still around... a lot! But I was also surprised by the number of people who seemed to at least have some understanding and acceptance of bipolar disorder.

Take a look at the video. How do people in your life react to you or your loved one having bipolar disorder? Are they accepting, scared, negative? Comment below or do a response video and send it to info@healthyplace.com. Stay #BipolarStrong and I'll see you on Monday. Hannah
