Average occurrences and normal events can become all that much more difficult to deal with all by virtue of the fact that you live with an eating disorder. I came down with a sinus infection, my second this year alone, a few days ago. I'm still struggling with the headaches, congestion, sneezing, coughing, and mucus.

During this time, when I don't feel well at all, life is throwing entirely too much at me, I still have to work all three of my jobs and cope with my binge eating disorder on top of it. And when I'm running a fever, miserable, and sick, the last thing I am prepared to do is eat healthily and maintain my coping skills. Also, to add to everything else, I didn't get out to go grocery shopping (because of my sinus infection) so I ended up with very little in the fridge that was good for me to eat.

Due to my gastric sleeve surgery, I can't go for too long without eating or I will feel nauseous. So I needed to eat. I went into the fridge to find very little to eat. I ended up coming up with the idea to cook trout burgers, cut them up and put them onto a pizza with cheddar. It wasn't bad, in a strange way. But still not what I should have been eating.

Life Returns to Normal-ish for Me and My Binge Eating Disorder
