Music to Help Ease Adult ADHD Moods
I love music and I love having ADHD, though it can get out of control at times. For example, I am SUPER HYPER today. It's the first day of my spring break week; I need the structure school provides, plus I miss my lab partner. On days like today, classical piano is on my music menu. Tomorrow, when I inevitably come down from the hyperness of today, fellow ADHD'er Justin Timberlake is what I'll order.

Wow, you are so cool! I'm just now figuring out I possibly have this condition & I love it! I love my hyperness& ability to jump from one thought to another with a connection. (Although sometimes it gets out of hand) I love classical music too & it does the same thing to me! Your expression is exactly how I feel when it comes on, instantaneous calming affect. I loved your video!:) Stay strong&awesome ^^
Hi,
Nice blog. I also discovered the same with my mood swings. I actually have preset playlists for the different moods.
I feel you, Sharon. I'm sorry you're having a tough time right now and I really think journaling could help. If you're hyped up, maybe try sitting quietly outside while writing or turning on some of that nice classical music. I recommend some Chopin if you're in the mood for wine with writing :)
I was in special ed a few times growing up, and now I'm at a Top 20 medical school and went to a Top 20 liberal arts college. And, believe you me, finding out ADHD was what I had sure did explain a whole lot for me.
Best of luck!
Im 59 yrs old and I think I discovered that I have ADHD. So wanted to talk to other adults with it. I have not been diagnosed. I looked around the house today, I have a started crochet project, a half read help book, half vacuumed house, half everything... my proof reading at work was appalling.. I cant decide. It makes sense, I want to move for the 6th time in a year and I think after 6 yrs its time to leave my lover. Ive always had bad handwriting and was labelled as "dumb" at school and it still hurts to this day. If I knew I had ADHD I would at least have a reason for all of this. Im taking your tips and I will start making journals. There is a quieter part of myself that looks on in wonder.
