Another day in Bipolar World...
Well, it's been a day or two since I blogged. Really still getting used to the concept. The last two days have been a little better, I didn't sleep all day and actually got some things accomplished. I feel that heavy burden of depression slowly lifting off of me. Yesterday I just didn't feel. I wasn't depressed per say, but I wasn't happy either. I felt like I had no feelings at all. But I got up, helped my wife clean the house, which I hate with a passion, and fixed the dishwasher. So, I felt like I at least accomplished something. We went to church yesterday evening, it was good but I didn;'t get that strong presence of the Holy Spirit I usually do in church. My church is not your typical church, The band plays the more modern upbeat christian music, we have no hymnals. Everyone is accepted just the way you are. Piercings, tattoos, former drug addicts, alcoholics anyone and everyone. I don't want to get this going in a religious direction. Just know it helps me with my illness. I found out this morning my daughter made the All- American Cheer Squad, I'm so proud of her. They have been practicing at Louisiana State University all week from 9:00am to 9:00pm. So, like I said, right now I am in a avaerage mood, I guess I'll take that over the depression I was in. I hope all of you are doing well, please comment on my blog if you just need someone to talk to, I'm all for helping my fellow Bipolars. I have been Diagnosed with Bipolar for 10 years but had symptoms way before that. Also, I am ADHD, and have anxiety disorder. So there is not much I haven't been through. Take care all, and Keep fighting the good fight.
