Get Some Fresh Air and Improve Your Wellbeing
I spend time outdoors every day. As a writer, I enjoy being surrounded by nature. Breathing in fresh air is liberating. It awakens my senses and filters my thoughts (Three Ways to Manage Your Mood). I gravitate towards a wide-range of outdoor landscapes that calm, yet energize, my mind, body and soul.
When I go outside to take in some fresh air, I think about places I enjoy, whether it's laying on a sun-drenched tropical beach with soft, white sand, standing among countless snow-capped mountains, or settling in among the rolling hills, sprawling green trees, and magnificent limestone cliffs on a serene lake. It is an opportunity to purge my mind of distractions and reflect on my day. Being in nature and breathing in fresh air clears the mind, improves disposition, and fosters creativity. Go ahead, enjoy God’s creation.
You can't change who you are, but you can change what you have in your head, you can refresh what you're thinking about, you can put some fresh air in your brain. ~ Ernesto Bertarelli
