Building strong self-esteem is easier when you take the time to build a set of life goals that define your personal vision of success. Life goals provide us with direction and help clarify the changes we need to make in our journey to healthy self-esteem.
If you have poor self-esteem, you may be focusing too much of your time on helping others reach their goals and ignoring your own. You may think that your goals should be exactly like those of the people in your life or what they tell you your goals should be. It's difficult when your self-esteem is low to recognize that you deserve a life that is satisfying to you. A great way to build your sense of worthiness is to explore what your ideal life would look like.
