Life is a pilgrimage. The wise man does not rest by the roadside inns. He marches direct to the illimitable domain of eternal bliss, his ultimate destination.~ Swami Sivananda

Think About a Time You Experienced Bliss

Think about a time when you felt a heightened emotional state of joy, fulfillment and happiness. Now, reflect on it and describe it aloud. Just imagine living each day in such an amazing state. There is no textbook answer for creating bliss. Our lived experiences are different. Therefore, each of us has to discover it for ourselves.

The Path to Achieving Bliss in Your Life

Bliss - that sense of joy, fulfillment and happiness - doesn't just pop into your life. Want to know how to create a blissful life? Watch this.Start anew. Focus on bliss one day at a time. This is not to say you will not experience a period of struggle. Life can be a zany ride. We all have experienced major life changes that made us feel blue, like the death of a loved one, divorce, job loss, or discovering you have a serious mental health condition. Don’t you dare wait by the roadside, run towards what brings you joy, fulfillment and happiness. One day at a time, expend your energy nurturing your faith, gratitude, intention, understanding and peace. Do this often. Living a blissful life is achievable, if you believe.

Although time seems to fly, it never travels faster than one day at a time. Each day is a new opportunity to live your life to the fullest. In each waking day, you will find scores of blessings and opportunities for positive change. Do not let your today be stolen by the unchangeable past or the indefinite future! Today is a new day! ~Dr. Steve Maraboli
