There is so much power in giving thanks! I have been reading a great book on this subject: 1000 Gifts by Ann VosKamp. This book has opened my eyes and given me great food for thought. Thanks for the blog.

My therapist and I were just talking about the a couple of days ago. She wants me to keep a gratitude journal, separate from my regular journal. I'm very negative and my depression is coming back. So the point is to get me to be more positive and maybe even in a better mood.

Hi Michele, Thanks for commenting. Another tool is if your on the go to do it in your phone or keep a handy journal around when you know you are more likely to be triggered. For some, that is in the afternoon or in the evening. I hope this helps.
Take Good Care,
Emily
